NAHB is seeking data from single-family builders to produce average profit benchmarks for the industry. Specifically, the Economics team is requesting data concerning your company’s 2023 Income Statement and Balance Sheet. This information will remain completely confidential, and only Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s small research team will see the data.
The study produces gross and net profit benchmarks that builders across the country use as reference points when analyzing their own financial performance. Results help builders with resource allocation, budgeting, and target setting for cost and expense lines.
Industry averages will be published in the next edition of the , which will be released at the 2025 International Builders' Show. You can see a summary of past results . The book will retail to Â鶹ÊÓƵ members for $79.95, but respondents will receive a free electronic copy. In addition, 10 participants will win a complimentary subscription to Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s housing forecast service (valued at $1,095).*
